SchoolMessage Email Troubleshooting

Drake University Head Start has received reports from a small number of families that the email messages sent through our data management system are cut short and the full message is not received via email.

This appears to be happening only with Gmail accounts.  We have alerted the data management company; however, the issue originates outside of their server so they are working with Google to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, there are two ways parents can ensure they are receiving the full content of Drake University Head Start's emails:

  1. Talk with your family engagement staff and opt-in an email address that is NOT a Gmail account, or
  2. When you receive the message, tap the three dots in the right corner of your email and select "Revert auto-sizing".

If you try option 2 and you are still unable to see the full message, contact your family engagement staff right away.
