Every spring, the Region VII Head Start Association holds a conference for Head Start staff, leaders, and partners.
Cassie Clyde, Community Engagement and Volunteer Specialist, Sarah Martinez, Nutrition Assistant, and Shaniece Alford, Teacher Associate in Merle Hay 1 HSP, presented at the conference on their Farm to ECE award, including the grants and funding they have received, partnerships established, and highlighting the gardens that have been established at almost all of our sites.
They did an EXCELLENT job!
